ex 'Secretary of State' 1955 86" Series one Land Rover reg LYO 886 was stolen from outside my house in Chingford, London last night 16/02/12 at just gone 6.00 pm. We have CCTV footage of it being stolen closely followed by a white (possible Transit) van. I have owned the vehicle for over 15 years and it was for keeps. It was a very dirty and sh***y green with a cream hard top with windows and cream wheels. It was very low on fuel and the exhaust was about to fall off!
It appears it may of been stolen to order as about 3 weeks earlier a lady was seen photographing it next to her baby in a pram.
It has probably been scrapped, stripped or shipped by now but you never know. I want it BACK.

UPDATE:
Land Rover was found at 7.00pm Saturday by a local (Special) Bobby in a back street about 5 miles from home. The owner has been over, put a gallon of petrol in and drove it home. Everything appears as it was apart from the fact that the exhaust is now in two pieces and was very noisy driving home.
