This vehicle was listed on ebay before. Pretty sure there's a thread on landyzone. This bloke needs his site visiting as he has a number of landys in various states of build.

Is there anyone kent based who could take this up?? I am away.

Check out his pics

denvertimothy19 has bough from here and the 2 links below both have funny wiring around steering column and dont to me look like motors that should be in a scrap yard!

The fact he has three for sale all with no id kind of says it all really, the blue one looks like the sort of car that a previous owner has done quite a bit to, i noticed the snorkel has been removed.

please remember the scrappage scheme and yes they are meant to be scrapped BUT some also found there way out of there
and was sold on again without id and docs by the guys that own the depollution centres after all its not hard to say yes we sold the bits and weighed in the rest, most standard engine landys (battered farm vehicles) was no way near worth 2k at scrappage scheme time so most farmers seen this as a great time to upgrade and get 2k for a smokey cow poo ridden truck.

the landys listed are standard 2.5 engines and not 200 or 300 very doubtful they stolen...

the guys working for government removed id's off all scrappage scheme vehicles then after that they were sold onto breakers yards around the uk

please look at the link this is a pic of just one disused airfield they used as an overspill for scrappers

Yes but if that was the case surely he would mention it?
Whilst early defenders only have the vin on a plate and the chassis stamping im pretty sure other later non land rover cars had much more intricate id to prevent ringing etc, ie chassis numbers in places we dont know about.
