Hopefully the insurance will pay you what your LR is really worth, my advice is do not accept the first offer and hold out for as much as possible, good luck Colin

Insurance have agreed to pay 5900, so only lost 95 from what i paid, strange that i almost see this as a positive though i'd rather not have had it stolen in the first place

Good news for you, now you are looking for a replacement I assume, good to hear of an insurance company doing the right thing for once. regards Colin

Yes looking for something else, would really like another 90 but kind of nervous that the same crooks arent just giving me a few months to sort one out and pop round again...

Just a thought or obversation on my part is it only Defenders etc that seem to be stolen, it does seem to me that Discoverys are not targeted by these scumbags, could it be security on Discoverys is harder to bypass?  Regards to all Colin

Probley because the defender is more of a mechano set and can be broken right down literly the  only bit that doesent break into smaller panels is the back section of a Truckcab where as a discovery is more like a car in body parts the passenger compartment is still one complete section.

Think the  earlie discovery 1's had a problem with the alarm. With the Discovery 2 is a rolling code so it's never the same singnal configeration everytime i believe how true don't know ill look it up in the book

Thats mu theroy anyway
